Access to a clinic shouldn’t depend on the weather. Children shouldn’t have to walk through flooded paths to reach school. But for many rural Ugandan communities, poor infrastructure isolates families from life-saving services.
Our Road Improvement Program tackles this issue head-on.
Together with local leaders and residents, we identify the most critical roads and trails—especially those connecting schools, health centers, water sources, and farms. We mobilize youth and volunteers to:
Clear and level rough terrain
Install culverts and drainage
Add gravel and basic surfacing
Maintain key paths throughout the year
These improvements reduce transport time, allow for emergency vehicle access, and connect farmers to markets—amplifying economic and social development.
One path can change a village. And every road we improve is a step toward a more connected, resilient, and thriving community.
